The only of its kind in Hong Kong and Guangdong, ITE MICE which has its own visitor promotion, is being held concurrently with the long established international travel expo ITE – an unique arrangement in Asia producing great synergy! We would invite you to take part in the 5th MICE Expo, 10 – 13 Jun 2010 at the HKCEC.
Visitors will find it more interesting to visit events of bigger scale. Moreover, MICE and leisure travels are not entirely separable. No wonder why over 2000 corporate visitors attended our ITE MICE & ITE! Besides, you can also meet 6000 travel agents and tour operators at one-stop, which together accounts for over 70% of our 11240 trade visitors and buyers. Geographically, 22.5% of our trade visitors came from different parts of Asia and mainland China especially from the neighboring Guangdong. Both leading economies in Asia, Hong Kong and Guangdong have a combined population of 100 million.
Our corporate visitors came from different sectors – 19% from Event & PR, 18% from Training & Education, 14% from banking, finance and insurance; and over 1000 or 50% of them took part in seminars during our Corporate Travel Day. Since launching ITE MICE in 2006, the number of our corporate visitors has more than doubled.
ITE MICE & ITE 2009 drew 610 exhibitors from 44 countries and regions, with 34 official pavilions from Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Among them, over 100 including MICE bureau from Indonesia, Jakarta, Hong Kong and Thailand target MICE business.
Supported by China National Tourism Administration, Hong Kong Tourism Board, and the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong, ITE MICE also enjoys supports from event industry associations from Hong Kong and neighboring cities.
