dreamflightDreamflight – the British Airways supported charity, is celebrating its 23rd year, with its annual trip to Florida.

The UK charity, set up by British Airways cabin crew is once again taking seriously ill and disabled children on the holiday of a lifetime to the theme parks of Central Florida on a specially branded British Airways jet. The cabin crew who operate the flights volunteer their time.

British Airways CEO Willie Walsh was in attendance to wave the children off, along with celebrity supporters, including members of the Eastenders cast, as well as Paralympic athletes.

Willie Walsh said: “Dreamflight is a very special charity to British Airways and we are delighted to once again be supporting this event. In 23 years, the charity has taken over 4,100 children on the holiday of a lifetime, which is a very impressive feat.”

During their ten-day trip the children will visit Disneyland, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and MGM studios.
