BANGKOK/THAILAND – October 2009 – The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) moves forward to explore international markets in the Q4 of 2009 with its “Thailand Maximize” campaign. Aiming to revamp Thai MICE industry at its best, the organisation reflects Thailand to international eyes with a brand new image concept “Nowhere else offers more for your business event”. The notion is designed to highlight the value for money, variety of choices and Thai’s unique way of courtesy as core magnets.
The campaign will debut in the 17th IT&CMA and 12th CTW Asia-Pacific, altogether with newest privilege package ‘MAX VALUE’ invented to boost MICE’s meetings and incentives sectors. Conference organisers and managers can enjoy optimal privileges and value for money from today until 30 September 2010.
TCEB’s Director of Meetings and Incentives, Mrs. Malinee Kitaphanich, revealed the background of “Thailand Maximize” that the organisation had conducted the survey and research on Thai MICE industry from 2008-2009. The finding reflects that Thailand undoubtedly offers efficiencies and value for money for organising MICE activities of all sorts.

In 2008, Thailand attracted 727,723 MICE travellers, with 51 percent or 371,681 travellers from meetings and incentives sectors, generating earnings of more than 21,066 million Baht. In 2009, TCEB has foreseen that Thai MICE will bring over 41,000 million Baht of revenues into the country, with an estimated figure of MICE travellers at 500,000.
