Egypt, as the special guest country of EMITT takes its place at the fair with its new logo indicating the diversities of the country across thousands of ages: “Egypt… where it all begins”.  Egypt, the guest country, will be offering both its ancient civilization and modern life style to the world.
In collaboration of leading fair organization companies ITE Group and Ekin Group, the East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition (EMITT), salient to the global tourism, opens its doors for the 14th time to host tourism professionals from all over the world! EMITT 2010 Fair is to be held between 11 and 14 February 2010 at TÜYAP Fair, Convention and Congress Center in   Beylikdüzü. Having promoted guest country events two years ago, EMITT this time hosts Egypt as the special guest country of 2010.
With its new logo and slogan “Egypt..where it all begins”, the guest country aims to attract attention as a distinguished tourism destination at EMITT, the leading tourism event. The new logo has been carefully designed as it uses the colors of lapis lazuli, the Ancient Egyptians favorite in jewelry as well as indicating the vivid blue of Egypt’s seas and sky. In addition, the logo will also integrate the color of gold, as it was a sign of wealth and luxury within the Pharaonic culture.
With its logo and slogan introduced in 26 great markets including EMITT, Egypt shows that it is not only the origin of a great civilization, but as a tourist destination, it is the source of new experiences, rich personal inspiration and outstanding stories to tell.
Promoting itself an important destination in a wide variety of tourism categories such as therapy, desert, culture, adventure, convention, holiday, sport, golf, diving and shopping, Egypt is ready to display and share its cultural and natural beauties with the rest of the world. The guest country will arrange a press conference and a special Egyptian Night at EMITT 2010 fair where it shows the country’s unique folklore dance. During the fair, Egypt is also planning to to serve traditional Egyptian drinks such as Karkade. Visitors will also be presented a visual feast of famous Tanora dance.
