HOTUSA HOTELS ADDED 467 NEW ASSOCIATED ESTABLISHMENTS IN 2009

During the month of December last, this hotel consortium added a further 22 hotels, 18 of
which are at international level. The chain of independent hotels will be exhibiting their portfolio of some 2,350 establishments at FITUR, as well as the new 2010 catalogues for the brands Domus Selecta and Style Trendy & Elegant Hotels
Barcelona, 15 January 2010.- During 2009, Hotusa Hotels added to the portfolio a total of 467
establishments. The hotel consortium belonging to the Hotusa Group thus also strengthens its
positioning as one of the major hotel groups at international level, offering a wide range of services
which, as the ever-increasing growth of new inclusions shows, takes on special interest among the
independent hotels in an economic situation like the current one.
The total figure for 2009 includes the latest 22 associated hotels added during December, 18 of
which are outside Spain and are proof of the firm commitment towards internationalization of the
company. In this context, a noteworthy fact is the growth experienced in Panama with five new
hotels or the three new associated hotels in the U.S.A. Additionally, on the international scene,
Hotusa Hotels has added establishments in Colombia (1), Portugal (1), Argentina (2), Andorra (1),
France (2) and Brazil (2).
At the present time, Hotusa Hotels has over 2,350 associated establishments distributed over 27
European destinations: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France,
Germany, Gt. Britain, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Montenegro, Norway, Poland,
Portugal, Rumania, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey; 12 Latin American
countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru,
Guatemala and Venezuela, 4 African countries: Morocco, Mozambique, Tunisia and South Africa; 3 Asian
countries: China, India, Arab Emirates and Singapore; the United States & Canada.
