Gordoba – A Voyage Into History

Cordoba is located on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, in Andalusia and with your first step into the city you will feel yourself transported back in time.
Founded 800 years before the birth of Christ the old town contains many impressive architectural reminders of the Roman, Arabic, and Christian periods.
Its Golden Age was in the second half of the 10th century when Cordoba is reputed to have been the most populous and advanced city of Europe if not the whole world. As a major cultural, political and economic centre Cordoba had few rivals.
Nowadays, in addition to its extensive historical interest (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984) the city also features a number of modern areas.
Cordoba offers everything you would expect for an unforgettable event: charming hotels with excellent facilities, a huge range of authentic restaurants, a wealth of activities and all with the captivating backdrop of the flower filled fragrant patios of Cordoba’s ancient villas and palaces.
