Leading experience marketing agency George P Johnson (GPJ) is to produce the launch event to mark the opening of London’s first International Convention Centre at ExCeL London.

The event on Thursday 24th June 2010 will be designed to showcase all of the facilities at ICC London ExCeL. It will include an agency forum, a press briefing with Mayor of London Boris Johnson, lunch in the ICC Capital Suite and culminate in an event in the ICC Auditorium.

As part of the event, ICC London ExCeL will welcome approximately 400 guests to the new venue, which will include clients, stakeholders and the media.

“The opening of London’s first International Convention Centre is an important milestone in the city’s business tourism history and we wanted to mark it with an event that underpins its significance;” said David Pegler, Managing Director, ExCeL London.

“It’s fantastic to have an experienced brand like GPJ involved in the launch, especially given the high calibre of events they have produced in the past. We’ve worked with them at ExCeL London for many years and the event will give the city a chance to shout about London’s credentials in a creative and inspiring way;” Adds David.
