Hotel Asia Gardens is to be an official partner to Messe Berlin. The flagship of the Barceló Premium hotel group has been awarded the contract for the 5th IFA Global Press Conference to take place in April 2010 before the 50th IFA 2010 is held in Benidorm in the Alicante region.

Prior to the 50th IFA 2010, this top-class event will see approx. 300 international journalists descending on Berlin along with industrial representatives from the areas of Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances.

After outstanding co-operation with Malta as the destination in 2009, the search was on for a suitable partner this year. Both the architectural features with unique gardens, pools and views as well as the combination with first-class conference facilities are of significant importance for the 5th IFA 2010 Global Press Conference. The entire hotel complex will become an IFA area in April 2010, the so-called “IFA Gardens”.

Salvador Aparisi, General Manager at Barceló Asia Gardens, is very much looking forward to the conference and has nothing but praise for the partnership-based collaboration so far. “We are delighted to have the honour of hosting the IFA Global Press Conference this year.
