P&O Cruises Managing Director and lowcosttravelgroup.com founder to speak at WTM Vision

World Travel Market, the premier global event for the travel industry, is delighted to announce P&O Cruises Managing Director Carol Marlow and lowcosttravelgroup.com Chief Executive Paul Evans are to speak at the WTM Vision Conference.
Marlow and Evans will be involved in a session comprehensively reviewing the UK outbound market, at the mid-year half-day conference, in association with Kingley Event Management, which will take place on Wednesday 16 June at 76 Portland Place, London, W1B 1NT from 9.15am, for a 10am start until 1pm.
Both speakers are highly successful and well respected senior travel industry executives.
Marlow worked for Thomson and Forte Hotels before joining P&O Princess Cruises (now Carnival UK) in 1997.  She has also assumed the roles of Chairman for Swan Hellenic,  Princess Cruises UK Director and Cunard Line Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa before becoming President and Managing Director of Cunard Line in 2005.  Marlow is now Managing Director of P&O Cruises, Britain’s largest cruise line.
Evans has worked at Club 18-30 and Saga Holidays and held senior director roles at Airtours, Going Places and First Choice. In 2004, Evans founded lowcosttravelgroup.com which includes lowcostholidays.com, lowcostsbeds.com and resorthoppa.com
WTM Vision Conference 2010 will follow in the footsteps of last year’s inaugural event by offering high-calibre speakers, content and research to give analysis, statistical assessment and interpretations to the industry’s senior leaders.
The event evaluates the worldwide travel industry with exclusive research supplied by Euromonitor International (worth more than £1,000). Head of Travel & Tourism Research, Euromonitor International Caroline Bremner and Head of Countries & Consumers Research, Euromonitor International Sarah Boumphrey will be on hand to answer questions on the report’s findings.
Social media pioneer Graham Lee will lead the second session on how to successfully incorporate social media into a marketing strategy.
Graham launched one of the first social media PR agencies onlinefire and has devised campaigns for a number of well known brands including BBC, Deloitte, Panasonic, MTV and Wyndham Hotels.
He is currently Chief Executive of social media consultancy and training company Firebrand.
Last year almost 150 senior industry delegates attended the conference.
