WorldEvents™ is delighted to announce a series of new business wins that follow a successful 2009 for the company.
New clients for the agency include Pharmaceutical companies Eisai, Vectura, Bayer, Roche Netherlands, Napp and Mundipharma Pharmaceuticals, whilst other new clients include the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, Clearstream, UK Hydrographic Office and NHS Yorkshire and Humber. New business events delivered in 2009 have included the opening ceremony of the Eisai European Knowledge Centre in Hatfield and an internal Sales Conference for Vectura at Beaumont House, Windsor for 250 delegates. The company has also won a number of new events for pharmaceutical client Allergan, who appointed them to their event management roster in 2009 after the successful delivery of two EAME Sales Conferences in both 2008 and 2009.
Commenting on these new business wins, Mark Saxby, Sales & Marketing Director, said, “We are thrilled at these new business wins especially as they have come from our mainland Europe offices as well as the UK.’’
The US office of WorldEvents™ has also recently signed a five year contract with a global pharmaceutical company and began delivering the first events for the client in late 2009. WorldEvents™ anticipate that this key client will result in the delivery of an additional 75+ meetings per year for the agency.
The agency has recruited 11 new positions over recent weeks, in its UK, Netherlands, Germany and United States offices to support these new business wins. They are also looking to appoint a further six positions including a Head of Production Services to further cement their full service offering to clients.
