London creates special £20.10 business package to celebrate bumper 2010 year!

Visit London will be launching a dedicated package of £20.10 priced special offers to celebrate ‘2010’ being such a bumper year for business in London. The capital’s official visitor organisation is also celebrating 2010 with the biggest ever stand at IMEX and will be joined by 26 London partners on its stand F400 at the international tradeshow IMEX in Frankfurt, Germany (24-27th May 2010).

As IMEX takes place it also marks less than 800 days to the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games and for Visit London as the city’s Convention Bureau the message to Business travellers is the count-down has truly begun and London is ready and open to welcome business travellers and groups both in 2010 and beyond.

The specially priced ‘2010’ packages will be available to event planners and buyers who will be attending IMEX and include a range of delegate and events offers which cost £20.10 +VAT per person*. Examples of the ‘2010’ packages include:

• A corporate team building session in the Indoor School at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground
• A 3-hour drinks package at the Barbican served with a selection of award winning canapés
• A football themed drinks receptions from £20.10 per person to celebrate the World Cup at Wembley Stadium
• A specialist night tour of the Tower of London with a Yeoman Warder guiding your group through the ancient fortress for an hour, finishing with the Ceremony of the Keys, the world’s longest running military ceremony.
• Or on the 20th October 2010 (20/10/2010) The Merlin Entertainments London Eye will offer a 20% discount on each private capsule booked and 10% discount on each bottle of Champagne booked for this day.
• A contribution of £20.10 to the CarbonNeutral Fund for every 50 day delegate packages booked with the Business Design Centre.

As well as the ‘2010’ price packages Visit London will be profiling a ‘Fashion’ theme throughout their stand with a fashion-related client event, cocktails and cupcakes on the stand and an experiential fashion photo shoot booth which will allow visitors to experience the glitz and glamour of London by having their picture taken which they can then keep as a souvenir. By using the special ‘fashionista booth’ visitors will automatically be entered in to our amazing competition to win a whole host of exciting fashion themed prizes including a fashion weekend for two in London and flights on the London Eye.
