Monarch Airlines MD completes WTM Vision’s Stellar Speaker Line Up

Monarch Airlines Managing Director Tim Jeans completes the stellar line up of speakers for the WTM Vision Conference, which takes place on June 16.

Jeans, a stalwart of the aviation sector, will speak as part of the session reviewing the UK outbound market. He will be joined on the panel by TUI UK & Ireland Distribution Director Nick Longman,  P&O Cruises Managing Director Carol Marlow and lowcosttravelgroup.com Chief Executive Paul Evans.

Jeans has more than 20 years experience in the avaition sector, starting off in 1990 as General Manager of Manchester Airport before spending seven years as Micheal O’Leary’s number two at Ryanair. In 2002, he become Managing Director of MyTravellite before joining Monarch in 2007.

Other sessions include a review of the global travel industry, which will unveil exclusive research by Euromonitor International (worth £1,000). Euromonitor International’s Head of Travel &Tourism Research Caroline Bremner and Head of Countries and Consumer Research Sarah Boumphrey will answer questions on the report’s findings.

Furthermore, social media pioneer Graham Lee will lead the second session on how to successfully incorporate social media into a marketing strategy.

Graham, Chief Executive of social media consultancy Firebrand, launched one of the first social media PR agencies onlinefire and has devised campaigns for a number of well known brands including BBC, Deloitte, Panasonic, MTV and Wyndham Hotels.

WTM Vision Conference 2010 will follow in the footsteps of last year’s inaugural event by offering high-calibre speakers, content and research to give analysis, statistical assessment and interpretations to the industry’s senior leaders.
