BEIJING, June 2, 2010 /PRNewswire/ — Air China joined over 300 representatives from both Sweden and China in celebrating 60 years of diplomatic relations at the Sweden-China Innovation Week being held in Beijing from May 16 to May 22. Since 1950, Sweden and China have worked together on strengthening their relationship through cooperative research and development, bilateral trade, and cultural exchange. Due to its strong airline network, Air China is the Exclusive Airline of Innovation Week, which will take China-Sweden relations to new heights.

Air China is the only airline offering non-stop service between Beijing and Stockholm. Flight CA911, available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, departs from Beijing at 1:50pm and arrives in Stockholm at 5:20pm local time, with a flight time of 9 hours and 30 minutes. The return flight CA912 departs from Stockholm at 7:10pm and arrives in Beijing at 9:40am local time, with a flight time of 8 hours. Compared with connecting flights, Air China’s non-stop flight will save passengers 3 to 5 hours. The passengers who book earlier can enjoy a discount price starting at RMB4,800.

In addition to the Beijing-Stockholm route, Air China also offers flights to Stockholm through Beijing from over 50 cities in China. Passengers arrive in Sweden on the same day as departure.
