The EIBTM Stand Awards 2010 will recognise and acknowledge the brightest, busiest and best stands at this year’s show; those that demonstrate the best in business-to-business exhibition marketing, helping to generate business and interest from those attending the event.

The Awards are open to all EIBTM exhibitors and will be judged on the opening day of EIBTM – Tuesday 30 November – by an independent judging panel, chaired by Rob Allen, Chief Executive of experiential marketing and live event marketing company, TRO Group.
Commenting on his role as chair of judges, Rob Allen comments: “I am delighted to chair the EIBTM Stand Awards later this year. I am always pleased to be involved in the recognition and celebration of best practice and great achievements in the experiential and events sector and to do so at such an important and high profile event as EIBTM is especially exciting.”
Winners will be notified on the second day, when they will be presented with their Awards. Each winner will be featured in the dedicated Awards section of the show daily and on the EIBTM website.
The Sustainability Award will be judged by independent body Organise This Ltd, recognised as a leading authority in ‘sustainability’. The winner will have demonstrated a real commitment to sustainability through their presentation of a product or service at EIBTM and through their engagement with EIBTM’s Sustainability Policy.
In addition, all Hosted Buyers will be invited to vote for their favourite stand for doing business, the result of which will be announced on the final day of EIBTM.
Commenting on the new Awards, EIBTM’s Exhibition Director Graeme Barnett said: “These Awards have been set up in recognition of the importance stands and stand personnel play in the success of achieving return on investment at EIBTM. Exhibitors, who invest substantial time and budgets in our event, deserve to receive recognition for their design and marketing efforts.
“We are sure that the Awards will prove popular with our exhibitors and will become an established part of EIBTM in future years.”
