EMITT continues to grow
In 2011, EMITT will cover TEN pavilions! The additional pavilion will cater for the continuing growth of the exhibition. Every year, more destinations are present at the exhibition and, as Turkish consumers become more and more interested in travelling abroad and experiencing new cultures, countries with a regular presence at the show are increasing the size of their stands. This year, they include: Azerbaijan, Egypt Air, Ecuador, Japan, Lebanon, Tanzania, Thailand and Yemen.
The show will feature companies representing the following countries: Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Italy, Romania, Slovakia, Spain etc.
The exhibition will also feature over 150 towns from Turkey.

Outbound tourism in Turkey is making faster progress than other sectors of the economy: Between 1970 and 2005, whilst real GDP grew by 4.06%, outbound tourism grew by an impressive 9.38%. Its proximity to many popular tourism destinations inspires Turks to venture into new countries and recent low-cost flight combined with an increase in the average income have triggered a rise in outgoing departures over the last few years.
