FIBES TOOK PART IN THE ICCA WORKSHOP RECENTLY HELD IN HELSINKI

FIBES Congress Department Director, Ms Mª del Mar Carnero, participated in ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association) Workshop, held in Helsinki between 2nd and 4th of September

FIBES, Seville Conference and Exhibition Centre, keeping its ongoing participation and commercialization activities, is again present in one of the most relevant international forums on Conferences and Conventions in the field of business and meetings.

This time, the forum was the ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association) Workshop, held in Helsinki from September 2nd to 4th, attended by 11 venues and 11 clients.

The main aims of this encounter were to provide ICCA members with profitable opportunities to make business on conferences, meetings, conventions and the like, as well as to explain to the clients about the benefits of working with ICCA members.

FIBES Congress Department Director, Ms Mª del Mar Carnero, took part in this workshop, where an excellent opportunity was offered both to the client and the service provider to meet closely and discuss potential future cooperations.

On top of it, as a useful management tool, the client was kindly requested to provide all the relevant information, such as a list of their local colleagues; their organization’s structure; the criteria followed to choose the venues for their future events; decisions to make for future congress events, etc. Additionally, the venue or service provider also gave an outline of their centre to ICCA Main Office.

Besides, Ms Carnero took the opportunity to inform the clients about FIBES new enlargement, as a venue for big conferences and cultural events, which will be operative next year.
