World Travel Market 2010 will soon be here (Monday 8-Thursday 11 November)and The Travel Club is preparing to welcome members and non members worldwide to its magnificent building in the heart of London. The whole point of the club is to offer a ‘home fromhome’ for busy executives from every sector of the international travel and tourism industry, whether they live close by – or on the other side of the planet.
Tom Nutley, the club’s managing director and, as the former chairman of Reed Travel Exhibitions, the man who made World Travel Market into the global business forum it is today, said:” World Travel Market is always a special moment in the year for the global travel and tourism industry but its also a stressful time too.“The Travel Club aims to make World Travel Market week that little more relaxed, enjoyable and friendly. It’s also an opportunity for those who have not been fortunate enough to have a look around the magnificent club buildings in St. James’s Square just off Piccadilly.“There is so much to see and do at the club including a first class restaurant, two bars, meetings rooms, business centre, gym and swimming pool.
“We are finding that executives who frequently come to London but who do not have a base in the capital are
turning to The Travel Club as preferable to just another hotel.
“Members talk about the pleasure when they arrive at the club and immediately feel at home.
“The atmosphere is completely different, where every members of staff soon get to remember who you are and give you a personal welcome.”
Nutley said that many members were not only using the club to stay during World Travel Market but also for
entertaining clients and business prospects to dinner or lunch, large and small meetings as well as presentations.
The club is also planning its popular drinks receptions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8, 9 and 10 November.
Call the club duty manager and arrange a tour of the magnificent Grade 11 Listed building and its facilities.
