A new and exciting TV experience is to be launched at this year’s EIBTM (www.eibtm.com), taking the event to a multi channel platform with an on-site news  channel (EIBTM TV) plus an on-line review of the event (EIBTM TV Online).

Expected to reach a community of 14,000 industry professionals in Barcelona, EIBTM TV will broadcast from a studio hub via a network of highly visible screens the show floor and venue throughout the three day event (30 November – 2 December 2010). Using the on-site TV studio and roving camera crew, EIBTM TV will capture keynote interviews with industry speakers, flagship educational sessions and a news ticker service via the Show Daily team from Eventoplus together with TV advertising intermixed throughout the daily schedule.

Extending EIBTM to a 365 days a year product once the show closes, EIBTM TV goes online at www.eibtm.com, allowing the global meetings industry to source useful news and information, key educational content & presentations , industry commentary and other content added throughout the year.

The launch of EIBTM TV has created a new marketing platform for exhibitors and organisations involved in the global meetings industry, where they will be able to connect with participants at EIBTM, as well as the entire Reed Travel Exhibitions’ Meetings sector database made up of over 25,000 industry professionals.

Graeme Barnett, EIBTM Event Director, comments: “This really is a first for EIBTM which demonstrates our commitment to innovation and which we hope adds value to our participants experience at the event but also throughout the year. EIBTM TV will provide what many of our stakeholders have asking for – increased opportunities to further promote their brands to the biggest meetings audience that meets annually in Barcelona. Further extending EIBTM beyond the live 3 day experience is an exciting opportunity for us and enhances our ability to continually engage with the marketplace. EIBTM is now Onsite, Online and On TV”.
