ACC Liverpool, home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, will be exhibiting at EIBTM 2010, Barcelona, 30 Nov – 2 Dec.  Targeting over 650 European global meetings and events buyers, ACC Liverpool will focus on the key themes of sustainability, connectivity and flexibility to promote its offer to visitors.

In order to boost awareness of Liverpool as a destination, ACC Liverpool will highlight the three key differentiators that contribute to making ACC Liverpool a firm choice for European buyers.

  • Sustainability – The venue, which has won awards for its sustainability and green credentials, boasts impressive sustainability measures including zero to landfill, ISO 14001 accreditation, rain water harvesting and an internal team of sustainability champions.  The in-house team is committed to implementing new sustainable procedures that will improve the way ACC Liverpool operates, assisting clients with their own CSR requirements, as well as benefiting and giving back to the local community.
  • Connectivity – ACC Liverpool will emphasise its accessibility and transport infrastructure through its ease of connection to European airport hubs and the UK’s mainline trains; central London is just 2 hours from Liverpool by train and flying from Barcelona to Liverpool takes just over 2 hours.
  • Flexibility – Unrivalled flexibility of the 1,350 seat auditorium in the BT Convention Centre, 10,600 seats in the conjoined Echo Arena and 7,125 square metres of total exhibition space give event organisers the opportunity to utilise ACC Liverpool’s facilities as a blank canvas for their events.
