BT Convention Centre, part of ACC Liverpool, has rounded off the year by picking up the title of ‘venue event team of the year’ at Friday’s Eventia award ceremony.
BT Convention Centre Liverpool has continued to assert itself at the fore of the European convention and events industry by adding to the numerous awards already won throughout 2010.
General Manager Jacquie Rogers, and Kerrin MacPhie, Head of Sales, collected the highly coveted award that recognises exemplary levels of service and expertise from event teams in the industry.
The event team at the BT Convention Centre was first awarded for its excellence in 2008 when the venue opened. This year the venue has hosted over 400 events including the high profile Liberal Democrats Autumn Conference and AIPC which drew together over 160 senior figures from international convention centres.
Jacquie Rogers said, “I am thrilled that the event team at BT Convention Centre Liverpool has been recognised by the industry with such an accolade, which really goes to show how our people at the venue hold the key to the success of our business. This award is recognition of events successfully delivered to the highest standard of service and quality by such an outstanding team.”
BT Convention Centre Liverpool was also shortlisted in the Eventia awards for ‘venue of the year’.
