With this year’s edition of EIBTM, Congrex announced its development of a new EventApp for the Association Programme. This new tool is a great solution for those in attendance and another important step towards delivering paperless conferences. The new Congrex EIBTM Association Programme EventApp has been developed as an online-based conference navigating tool rather than down-loadable software – making it very user-friendly and accessible through many hardware platforms.
The new online tool provides all the background details for the conference including conference agenda, list of speakers, exhibitor information and vital online networking functions. Additionally, it allows users to create their own favourite sections, search infrastructure information such as transportation, destination highlights, venue and accommodations information, as well as emergency contact numbers. A special feature is the ability to post messages on the EventApp message board. It’s easy to use. The user goes to the mobile website www.congrex.com/eventapp and uses the link – which can also be bookmarked – to enter the site. Only participants of the Association Programme have access to the Network, and once there, participants have the whole EIBTM Association Programme at their finger tips – an easy and very valuable tool to facilitate their experience.
Congrex believe this is another important step in deliverable a more valuable experience for participants and more responsible conferencing by establishing another paperless tool for conference goers.
