Top line-up of speakers

For the first time, this year’s EIBTM (www.eibtm.com) CEO Summit will deliver three powerful presentations to the global group of CEO members who represent every part of the meetings and events industry.

The line-up of speakers will include Dominic Swords, who will discuss an overview of the global economy and post-recession growth. Dominic has a background in the City working in Economic Intelligence at the Bank of England. He is a regular contributor to a number of TV and Radio programmes including CNBC’s ‘Strictly Money’, News 24 and BBC’s Financial World Tonight.  Dominic’s international experience includes client projects in the EU, US, the Far East and Australia.

Our second speaker will be Marc Wright who will present ‘The Power of Live Events’.  As Chairman of Simple Experience, a leading ‘Live’ event agency in London and former chairman of the IVCA, Mark has worked with global clients as diverse as Volvo, Vodafone and Tetra Pack on everything from big budget automotive launches to complex internal company briefs.

Finally, Felix Haas will discuss the Impact of Social Media on the meetings industry.  Felix is CEO of Amiando, Europe’s leading online service for on-demand event organisation and event ticketing. Having worked in Silicon Valley and on projects in conjunction with Google and Standford University, he is also co-author of multiple patents, including the recently released Google Maps “Send to Car” functionality. Felix is a Technology Pioneer 2010 by the World Economic Forum, a member of Entrepreneurs Organisation and a frequent speaker about Internet innovation.

This year’s CEO Summit, created and chaired by Jeremy Garbett of Deeper Blue Ltd, will be facilitated by Nadine Dereza. She is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced presenters in the world of business and finance, having presented for CNN, BBC and Summit TV. Nadine is an award-winning journalist and has won “Financial Journalist of the Year.”
