Registration for the ‘Meet Estonia 2011’ fam trip, which will take place in Tallinn April 13 – 15, will begin in January.

Building on the success of last year’s event, organizers are preparing to have 50 professional event organisers from all parts of Europe visit Tallinn, where they’ll be introduced to what Estonia has to offer as a conference destination and meet key operators in the Estonian market.

The programme includes excursions through Tallinn’s famous Old Town, a nighttime tour of the city’s ‘haunted houses’, and a traditional village-style party as well as site visits to conference venues and workshops with local convention bureaus, DMCs and PCOs. There will be different programs for PCOs/associations and for conference and incentive agencies both set up in the program.

Participants will also have the option of taking a post-event tour of Estonia’s university town Tartu or summer capital Pärnu.

The trip is organised jointly by the Estonian Convention Bureau, Enterprise Estonia and the Estonian Tourist Board.

Full details and an online registration form for Meet Estonia 2011 will be available on the ECB website, www.ecb.ee, as of January 10. The deadline for registration is February 1st.
