An exhibition concept designed to appeal to the event industry’s plethora of associations has kept the Event Production Show on course to attract the largest number of exhibitors in its history.

The Event Production Show takes place from 2nd – 3rd February at Olympia’s Grand Hall in London, and will reveal the new products, innovations and concepts that will characterise the UK’s next ‘Decade of Events’ to include; 2012 London Olympics, Diamond Jubilee, 2014 Commonwealth Games, 2015 Rugby World Cup and the UK’s thriving outdoor festivals.

Responding to a high level of demand, association pavilions have been offered to the organisations including the National Outdoor Events Association, Event Suppliers and Services Association and Production Services Association, allowing associations to strengthen their own profiles while providing an industry-wide platform for their members.

Take-up of the pods offered within association pavilions has been swift, with companies keen to showcase under the banner of their respective associations.

Boosted by the opportunities created by association pavilions, which will be situated in areas across the Grand Hall, the latest number of exhibitors represents an upsurge of 44 per cent from December 2009. Event Production Show organisers have also confirmed that the number of large-space exhibitor bookings has exceeded all previous years, demonstrating the industry’s increasing willingness to invest as the market gathers pace.

Chris Skeith, ESSA Director commented: “We are always seeking ways to help reduce the cost of doing business for all of our members and proving the value of membership. With the long list of upcoming landmark events coming up in the UK over the next decade we are excited at being able to offer this opportunity to our members.”

Sarah Brownlee, Event Production Show spokesperson continues: “The presence of associations at the show has grown to such an extent that we decided to offer them the opportunity to add value for members. The breadth of associations that are involved in this year’s show is representative of our reputation as the industry’s meeting place, and encouraging more members to participate will ultimately enhance visitor experience.”
