On March 1, 2011 the first procedure will begin for the sale of tickets for EURO 2012 matches. The Local Organizing Committee will devote a separate press conference on February 1 to this issue.
This is what tournament director Markiyan Lubkivskyi said in Lviv. According to him, based on experience in Austria and Switzerland during Euro 2008, where the contest was 1:10, demand for EURO 2012 tickets will not be lower.
He recalled that today anyone can log on at the UEFA site to receive information on tickets for EURO 2012 matches. Lubkivskyi also said that ticket prices will be identical for everyone, they’ve been set, but prices will be officially announced on March 1. Given the great demand for passes to the stadiums, 1.4 million tickets will be available on the principle of an independent lottery.
