2011 FORECASTED TO BE VANCOUVER’S BEST CONVENTION YEAR EVER

WITH OVER 24 CITYWIDE CONVENTIONS ON THE CALENDAR, and the city celebrating it’s 125th Anniversary with 125 celebrations, 2011 is guaranteed to be an exciting year, not to mention the most successful in Vancouver’s convention history! This year, Vancouver will welcome some 160,000 convention delegates, totalling approximately 220,000 room nights, making 2011 the strongest year ever for hotel room-nights generated by citywide conventions.
