Brighton Centre continues its makeover

The Brighton Centre has announced a further £1 million investment to its facilities following the successful completion of its phase one refurbishment last year.

The venue will now undergo a significant redevelopment of its main entrance including the exterior space, signage and state of the art lighting, resulting in a complete transformation of its outside façade. In addition to this, the venue’s popular Restaurant, which is regularly used as a breakout space for larger conferences, will be redesigned to include floor-to-ceiling windows that will command uninterrupted views of the city’s famous seafront as well as a complete modernisation of its interiors.

“The Brighton Centre is one of the South of England’s largest multi-purpose venues. It is regularly used to host high profile business events, from political conferences to association meetings,” comments Howard Barden, Acting General Manager, The Brighton Centre. “At the heart of our centre is the desire to continually find new ways to improve visitor experiences whether it’s investing in the physical appearance of the venue or in its service. With a continued investment programme we anticipate we will greatly enhance the delegate experience.”

Recent visitors to the venue have been able to take advantage of its already completed upgrades across the public areas of the centre, including renovation work to the existing breakout areas and the addition of an alfresco coffee shop. There has also been new signage installed throughout and a significant investment in the furniture and furnishings. Two areas which have seen a dramatic transformation are the Auditorium 1 with all of its 4,000+ seating replaced and Auditorium 2 which benefited from an overall refurbishment.
