Latest wave of confirmations highlight diversity of 2011’s exhibitor list

The latest exhibitors to announce their participation in the Event Production Show (2nd – 3rd February at London Olympia) confirm that 2011’s show will be the most diverse to date.

Event Production Show organisers have noted the unprecedented variety displayed by exhibitors, demonstrating a buoyancy in the industry as market activity is stoked by the UK’s upcoming Decade of Events. Real-life quiz shows for corporates, festival furniture, eye-catching exhibition stands and high-impact AV are among the new attractions which will arrive courtesy of the most recent bookers for the show.

Among the newest exhibitors are Live the City, who will launch the groundbreaking Showdown Quiz at this year’s Event Production Show. The corporate event service replicates the quiz show format and graphics with a TV-style podia system which uses wireless technology. Live the City are aiming to use the Event Production Show to spread the web of their event service – which also operates ‘Competitive Sightseeing’ treasure hunts around the City of London – to corporates around Europe.

Streaming Tank, 2010 Streaming Provider of the Year¹, have announced their presence at the 2011 Event Production Show in order to publicise their appointment as official online broadcaster of London Fashion Week, which takes place in February.

Other New Year bookers include Oscar Group, who will be unveiling their never-seen-before Stealth linkable modular banner; a seamless display system designed to create portable curved backdrops which can be repositioned without having to reconfigure the units. Radio communications provider 2CL Communications have secured their stand and will showcase new digital two-way radios from their new MOTOTRBO and Hytera ranges while inviting visitors to enter a prize draw for a £100 voucher.

Also recently stepped on board are cutting edge audio and lighting experts MilTec, a supplier to Glastonbury Festival.

Sarah Brownlee, Event Production Show organiser said: “We saw an upsurge in exhibitor bookings in the first week of 2011, as is usually the case in the weeks preceding the show. Many of the newest exhibitors have told us they are making marketing a priority in 2011 and are using the show as a platform to increase their presence as we look ahead at an event-packed decade.”
