IHG’s Priority Club Rewards Announces its First Bonus Points Promotion for 2011

Rack up to 30,000 points on hotel stays worldwide and get to free rewards even faster

ATLANTA – Priority Club® Rewards, the world’s largest hotel loyalty program fromIHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) announces today its first bonus points promotion of 2011. The new promotion rewards members with up to 30,000 bonus points for stays between Feb. 1 – April 30, 2011 at any of IHG’s 4,500 hotels worldwide including InterContinental® Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza® Hotels & Resorts, Hotel Indigo®, Holiday Inn®, Holiday Inn® Club Vacations, Holiday Inn®Express, Staybridge Suites® and Candlewood Suites®.


Beginning today, Priority Club® members can register online and for every three nights they stay during the promotion period, they’ll earn 3,000 bonus points.

According to Lincoln Barrett, vice president, Guest & Campaign Marketing, IHG, “Earning bonus points during stays on top of what members regularly earn is like taking an express shuttle to free hotel stays, flights, brand merchandise, retail gift cards and car rentals.”

Since launching Priority Club bonus points promotions in 2011, on average 20 percent of active Priority Club members registered, to get closer to what matters most to them, whether it’s a free vacation, a special gift for a family member or to help cut down on everyday expenses, like groceries.

“As a frequent traveler I spend a considerable portion of the year on the road,” said Doug Sappington, Priority Club Rewards Platinum Member. “Over the past year alone, I’ve saved thousands on my personal expenses by redeeming Priority Club points for gas cards.
