Dubai, 27 December 2010: Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based luxury hospitality company and member of Dubai Holding, has been appointed by Zabeel Properties, a subsidiary of Zabeel Investments, LLC to manage Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. The new 5-star hotel, located on the west crescent of Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah, is scheduled to open its doors to the first guest in January with the opening party planned for 4 January 2011.

Jumeirah Group will deliver unrivalled luxury with an imperial touch at the 405 key culturally-inspired destination. Hand-painted frescoes, Turkish artworks and lavish murals combine to conjure up the magnificence of the Ottoman Empire. The imperial hospitality experience is further expressed in the design and scale of the property, the thoughtfulness of the service and the subtle interweaving of Ottoman and Arabic themes.

At the heart of Jumeirah Zabeel Saray lies the Talise Ottoman Spa, covering 8,000m2 and boasting 42 individual spa rooms and suites, an indoor swimming pool and 3 authentic Turkish Hammams. In addition, the hotel has the Mehteran Theatre & Event Centre, which will play host to live shows and events.

Jumeirah Zabeel Saray will also offer 38 opulent villas situated on the beach and around a lagoon pool; 10 authentic restaurants, bars, a night club, boutiques, lush gardens, tennis courts and fitness centre; and an extensive selection of sports and leisure activities.

This is the first hotel developed by Zabeel Properties to open its doors in Dubai. The hotel is a fitting addition to Jumeirah Group’s existing portfolio of exceptional properties, which includes the iconic Burj Al Arab in Dubai and Jumeirah Essex House in New York.
