As the first female controller of BBC1 in 2000, Lorraine has established herself as a formidable force in the media world. She also became the first female CEO of a major production company when she joined talkbackThames in 2005. During her career she has worked closely with some of the UK’s most famous television personalities including Simon Cowell, Alan Sugar and Jonathan Ross. Her successes include launching Strictly Come Dancing and new dramas such as Spooks and Waking the Dead.
