Menzies unveils unique meeting venue overlooking the sea

The Menzies East Cliff Court Hotel in Bournemouth has created a new event space to complement its range of existing meetings and events facilities.

Part of the 17-strong UK collection of Menzies Hotels, the new events facilities reflect the roll out of the chain’s Premier Meetings Spaces.

The Menzies East Cliff Court Hotel’s new Ocean Suite boasts floor to ceiling windows which give commanding views stretching from The Purbecks to the open seas and long sandy beaches of the south coast.

Located at the front of the noted 4-star hotel, The Ocean Suite reflects the needs of today’s event organiser; a 60 inch LCD television with VGA and digital inputs allowing direct laptop connectivity, sumptuous leather boardroom chairs and stylish conference tables. Direct access to an over-sized private balcony allows refreshment breaks, lunches and private dinners to be served alfresco with guests taking in the panoramic seaside vistas.

The Menzies East Cliff Court boasts 67 bedrooms decorated in a modern, contemporary style and 7 meeting and events rooms catering from 6 – 150 guests. With the additional use of the adjacent sister hotel the Menzies Carlton’s leisure facilities; the hotel offers a very unique experience by the sea.

Situated on the quieter more exclusive East Overcliff in Bournemouth, the hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the Blue Flag award winning beaches, 10 minutes from the town centre and Bournemouth International Centre, 1 mile from the train station, and 15 minutes from Bournemouth International Airport. A direct link to the capital by train is just 1 hour 40 minutes.

Day delegate rates are priced from £45 and 24-hour rates are priced from £125 inc VAT.
