A taster of the Göteborg Beer & Whisky Festival

This major event is not coming to Gothenburg until 2012. But for those who cannot wait that long Saturday, 26 March is set to be a feast for the taste buds, when a mini version of the Göteborg Beer & Whisky Festival is being held on the 18th floor of Hotel Gothia Towers.

“It’s set to be a tasty, informative and exciting afternoon and evening together with a couple of Sweden’s leading food and drink experts. Lots of new products will be presented as well,” says Marianne Wallberg at Stockholm Öl & Vin AB, which is organising the Göteborg Beer & Whisky Festival.
The food and drink expert Michel Jamais will guide participants through the new exciting world of beer and food during a Beer Lunch and a Beer Dinner. Whisky expert Angela Forsgren d’Orazio, Master Distiller/Blender at Mackmyra Svensk Whisky and principal judge of the Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival’s International Whisky Competition is holding the whisky tastings.
“You can choose one or more options in the programme. And if you want your very own tasting, we can arrange that too,” says Erik Ellström at Stockholm Öl & Vin AB.
The event organiser is Stockholm Öl & Vin AB, which is organising the International Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival for the 20th consecutive year this autumn.
