Focus on global insight at Marketing Day

There is an international character to the theme of this year’s Marketing Day on 8 April at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre. The focus is on the opportunities that are being created in a world in which global insight is a success factor for new business, irrespective of how local your business activities are.

Mats Lindgren, CEO of Kairos Future, opens the day by talking about global trends and how these in turn affect us. Then the former Minister for Foreign Affairs and top diplomat Jan Eliasson will be reflecting on our world today.
Lecturers also include Olle Victorin, project manager and partner at the advertising agency Forsman & Bodenfors, and Gustav Martner, Executive Creative Director at CP+B, which has its European office in Gothenburg. They will be lecturing on the theme ‘local – global – new opportunities’.
“It’s an extremely important theme affecting us all regardless of how local our business activities are. It’s important to be on the ball, discover and act when international business opportunities arise as at present,” says Kristina Cohn Linde, CEO of MiG (Gothenburg Marketing Association).
The Marketing Day is being arranged for the fourth consecutive year and is a partnership between MiG and the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre. Last year 360 people took part.
In addition, restaurateurs from Göteborg’s Restaurant Association operating under the Taste Göteborg logo will be serving lunch.
