Based in Stockholm, Nina brings a wealth of international industry expertise to her new role, having spent the past five years working with Roche’s event team in the UK and at Roche head office in Switzerland. During that time Nina transitioned from venue finding and supplier negotiation to planning and managing budgets in excess of £1 million per annum and ultimately overseeing the activities of a 7 strong congress team. In 2009 Nina’s achievements were recognised with a ‘Sales & Marketing Excellence Business Partner Award’’. Her work with Ovation will see her target associations and develop DMC opportunities around international congresses.
Recently graduated with a Masters in Business Administration, Daniel Meck has a strong track record of identifying and converting growth opportunities in the DMC sector having honed his business development skills as Manager of Strategy & Sales with New York based DMC, Briggs Inc. Daniel joins Ovation on March 15th and will be based in the company’s Rome office from where he will leverage his knowledge of key markets, particularly the United States, to develop incoming business for Italy and also develop Italy as a source market for the Ovation Global network.
Daniel and Nina are joined by Ian Hemmingway whose work as Marketing Assistant will focus on maximising Ovation’s online presence via social media and web channels. A Masters Graduate of Dublin City University, Ian was awarded the DCU Business School Best Practicum 2010 for his thesis work in researching, trialling and recommending an online marketing strategy for global artwork management company Perigord Group.
