These farms, which are from 200 to 300 hectares larger, are home to wild deer, and some even feature bison and wild boar as well. These farms are enclosed by fences to keep the animals in, and some are open to visitors.
“The deer inhabiting the park are used to human presence, that is why they can be viewed from up close, and persons can even pet and feed the animals. Persons visiting the park can bring along goodies to feed the deer, like dry bread, carrots and apples,” the staff of the More Deer Park inform.
Relaxing and watching the animals roam around is the main reason people enjoy visiting these parks. Many of these parks also have special paths through the forest, where people can take a hike and enjoy the beauty of nature.
