Former Selfridges CEO Completes WTM Vision – London Line Up

World Travel Market, the leading global event for the travel industry, is delighted to reveal retail guru and former Selfridges CEO Peter Williams completes the line up for WTM Vision – London on May 25.

Williams is one of the UK’s most successful retail leaders with more than 20 years of senior executive positions in the sector, including 13 years at Selfridges as CFO and CEO.

Now non-executive director at online fashion retailer ASOS, Williams will lead the session Consumer Retail Spending Trends in 2011, which will examine consumer spending patterns over the next 12 months.

Williams has also held senior management positions at EMI Group, JJB Sports and Alpha Airports Group. He currently holds non-executives positions at a number of organisations including Cineworld and Siverstone Holdings.

He joins an industry-leading line up of speakers and content for the third WTM Vision – London conference, which takes place at the CBI’s Conference Centre on May 25.

The half-day conference starts with an overview of the global travel and tourism industry with Euromonitor International. Head of Travel & Tourism Research Caroline Bremner will reveal the organisation’s latest report (worth £1,000) which will be given FREE to all delegates.

Williams will then look at consumer spending trends, before the conference concludes with a panel debate on the UK domestic and outbound markets. Senior industry participates include;

The event is moderated by ABTA Chairman and Advantage Chief Executive John McEwan.

The third annual WTM Vision Conference – London, in association with Kingley Event Management, takes places between 9am – 1pm on May 25 at the CBI Conference Centres, London.
