Keith Prowse showcases model for corporate hospitality at Edgbaston with Ashes hero

Keith Prowse raised the bar for corporate hospitality in the Midlands yesterday evening (Tuesday 10th May), hosting Birmingham business leaders and selected media figures at Experience Edgbaston.

The event was a curtain raiser for the £32 million redeveloped New Edgbaston, scheduled to be unveiled on Friday 15th July, celebrating Keith Prowse’s appointment as official hospitality provider at the England Test team’s most successful Ground.

Guests were treated to bowl food inspired by the menus which will be enjoyed in the new Jaguar Club, The 1882 Club, Superboxes and The Edgbaston Suite in the new Pavilion Stand. The menus are part of an upscale dining experience which characterises Keith Prowse’s flagship events such as The Championships Wimbledon and Cartier International Polo.

Ahead of England’s eagerly anticipated 3rd npower Test match vs India (Wednesday 10th August – Sunday 14th August), Warwickshire Cricket County Club Chief Executive Colin Povey outlined his vision of how state of the art corporate hospitality facilities at the ground can help raise the profile of business in the region.

In a demonstration of the new brand of experiential hospitality pioneered by Keith Prowse in recent years, guests participated in an exclusive question and answer session with England Ashes winner Jonathan Trott, star of home team the Warwickshire Bears.

Keith Prowse also offers playing and coaching sessions with former champion Pat Cash as part of its Wimbledon range while Twickenham clients quiz players result from the field of play in the Players’ Lounge.

Andrew Hodgkins, Managing Director at Keith Prowse said: “It is exciting to roll out the Keith Prowse brand into the UK’s second city in partnership with WCCC. Our market research highlights cricket enthusiasts are willing to travel up to 90 minutes to entertain their guests – through the support of regional businesses we believe Edgbaston will take its place in the bracket of world class entertaining hotspots.”
