Properties Capitalize on Independence with Utell Hotels & Resorts

SCOTTSDALE, DALLAS and LONDON (May 9, 2011)Establishing a new beginning as independent brands, sister properties The Ashling in Dublin and Flannery’s Hotel in Galway have switched to Utell Hotels & Resorts for international sales, marketing and representation services.

Overlooking the River Liffey, the four-star Ashling Hotel is a stunning Dublin City hotel centrally located close to Heuston Station, the National Museum of Ireland, Guinness Storehouse, Phoenix Park and Dublin Zoo. Tastefully decorated in warm tones, the 225 rooms provide comfortable beds with crisp white duvets, flat screen televisions and free WiFi. Additionally, the hotel offers a 180 seat restaurant, stylish bar, extensive meeting rooms and conference facilities catering to up to 220 delegates.

In January 2011, The Ashling Hotel received the Silver Irish Accommodation Services Institute (IASI) Award for Excellence in Accommodation Services Standards, and continues to strive towards providing high standards for guests.

Flannery’s Hotel is a family owned three-star property located on the west coast of Ireland, in Galway City just 2 km from the city centre. The hotel has been welcoming guests since 1969, and provides genuine Irish hospitality in a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Guests can enjoy home-cooked prime Irish meats, seafoods and a friendly bar with great pints of Guinness.

The property has 134 modern, comfortable bedrooms, free Wi-Fi throughout, free on-site parking, four conference rooms, Frankies Bar & Bistro and Galwegians Restaurant serving local specialities. There is a bus stop opposite Flannery’s hotel with regular services to Galway. The Galway Irish Crystal Heritage Centre is a mere five-minute walk from the hotel.

Both properties now have access to Utell’s extensive range of business solutions. These include securing reservations through Utell’s global preferred partnerships and programmes with international TMC’s (travel management companies), online distributors and global corporate markets.
