The annual awarding ceremony of ATOR Travel Awards took place on June 23, 2011 in Moscow. 15 foreign tourist representative offices in Russia took part in the contest.

All the participants of ATOR annual reception got a chance to lose a touch of reality, feel the atmosphere of real festivity and communicate with the colleagues in informal way during the event which was held in Pushkin State Museum in Moscow.

Before the culmination of the evening – ATOR Travel Awards ceremony, the guests had the opportunity to attend an interesting excursion about the work of the famous Russian poet and about the history and traditions of the Russian nobility in XIX century.

Despite the free and easy atmosphere of the evening, the participants of the contest couldn’t stop thinking about the possible winners of the “winged globe”. It was very hard for the jury to choose the winners as many of the countries organized interesting promotional campaigns in Russia and cooperated with the journalists and the tour operators very actively.
The prizes and diplomas in the nomination of the best press service received 3 offices: ATOUT France, Embassy of Sri Lanka and Israel Ministry of Tourism. ATOUT France also received the award in the nomination “The Best Promotional Event”.
