Seville Congress and Exhibition Centre, FIBES, and Seville Congress & Convention Bureau, SCCB, once again and as has become usual, have organized a Fam Trip focused on the National Association Market with a group of local decision makers from different economic sectors (business, medical-scientific, etc). These actions are part of the marketing plan that started in June 2009 to promote the new Congress Centre and the attraction of both national and international meetings.
The visit was aimed at presenting Seville as a strong destination with attractive innovations, namely FIBES and its New Congress and Exhibition Centre, to this group of decision makers, as they are planning to possibly hold their national congresses and meetings in the facilities of Seville Congress and Exhibition Centre in the next few years. It was a joint presentation carried out by both FIBES and Seville Congress & Convention Bureau, SCCB.
The group enjoyed a programme designed to really get to know the destination, combining hotels, haciendas (country estates), palaces, theatres, restaurants, as well as the most emblematic monuments of the city such as the Royal Palace, the Cathedral, Santa Cruz Quarter and Metropol. Spaces that offer the necessary services for the successful development of any event in the city.
As part of the programmed visit, it is worth pointing out the tour of FIBES new facilities, visiting all the rooms, exhibition pavilions and restaurants. They also visited the new building, getting to know one of its main elements, the big auditorium that will hold up to 3,557 people, in its maximum setup. Furthermore, the new building will be completed with a big number of sub-commission rooms, spacious and well-lit areas and its main feature will be the all-purpose capacity of rooms and spaces, the originality of the project being a highlight with the ramp, indoor and outdoor exhibition areas, which will make of it one of the best buildings in the country to host all kind of great events.
The group of decision makers showed their admiration when they were informed about the New Congress Centre and they praised the number of possibilities that the new building will bring about to host congresses and conventions of their sectors. Nevertheless, they also pointed out the excellent, versatile facilities offered by FIBES at present as they provide a wide range of possibilities for future meetings and conferences.
We should also mention the valuable contribution of a high number of companies belonging to the SCCB such as Hesperia Sevilla Hotel, Autocares Casal, Sayca Catering, Hacienda San Miguel de Montelirio, Gran Hotel Meliá Colón, as well as Iberia and Vueling, the latter ones in charge of transport arrangement of participants in Seville.
