Polish student awarded MPI Foundation Youth Award

MPI Foundation Youth Award is awarded the most outstanding students participating in the annual conferences IMEX-MPI Future Leaders Forum held in five cities around the world: Bangkok (Thailand), Dusseldorf (Germany), Shanghai (China), Vancouver (Canada) and Warszawa (Poland).

This year’s winner of the International University Challenge was Michał Maziarczyk, a student of business tourism faculty of Vistula University in Warsaw. A participant of the March conference Future Leaders Forum Warsaw 2011, the organization which Convention Bureau of Poland POT provides its support each year.

Final presentations were held on May 25 ahead of the jury, who are experts of world meetings industry. Awards ceremony was held during the Gala Awards IMEX 2011 in Frankfurt, where award was hand over Bruce MacMillan, President of MPI. The main prize for the winner is a participation of  MPI World Education Congress in Orlando in July, this year. Michał is the first Polish student highlighted such an important award for business tourism, who got the better of 250 students from five countries.

“Together with colleagues we developed the idea, I just presented here at IMEX, and now I got such a prestigious award. I do not know what to say but thank you very much” – commented shortly after receiving the award Michał Maziarczyk, a student of the Vistula University and winner of the MPI Foundation Youth Award.
