Socially responsible and sustainable: Studienkreis again announces the international TO DO! Contest

Berlin, 15 June 2011 – The TO DO! – Contest Socially Responsible Tourism is announced worldwide for the 17th time by Studienkreis für Tourismus und Entwicklung e.V. (Institute for Tourism and Development). Enterprises and public or private institutions that take into account the interests and needs of the local population in their touristic activities are welcome to apply.

That socially responsible and sustainable projects and measures can be economically successful at the same time has been proven impressively by the latest TO DO! award winners. Prize winners range from grassroot projects to luxury resorts.

Deadline of application for TO DO! 2011 is August 31st 2011.
Entries by email are also welcome.

Prize monies TO DO!:
The Swiss Foundation for Solidarity in Tourism (SST) will donate 5,000 Swiss Francs prize money for each winner. The Europäische Reiseversicherung AG adds another 2,100 Euros for the award winners.
