MORE THAN 60 INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRY CEO’S MEET AT AIBTM FOR FIRST US SUMMIT

The first CEO Summit for the US international meetings industry will take place at AIBTM in Baltimore during the exhibition later this month. With more than 60 industry heads from Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Finland, India, Ireland, South Africa, Switzerland, US and UK, some 40 will attend for the from the USA. Attendees include Microsoft, Grass Roots, Maritz Travel, Silversea Cruises, Banks Sadler, Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau.

This inaugural AIBTM CEO Summit follows the success of the Summit held for the past 5 years at EIBTM in Barcelona, Spain, will bring the group together on 22nd June at the Baltimore Convention Centre alongside the exhibition allowing the individuals to also spend time on theexpo floor. Discussing both current and future issues impacting the industry, the event will be facilitated by industry expert Paul Bridle with two powerful presentations to the group that represents every part of the meetings, incentives and events industry. Paul is an information contextualizer and with his extensive and ongoing research into organizations and the people that lead them, he brings an external perspective to businesses.

Speakers will include Frank Sesno who will discuss the topic of Social Media: Lifeline or Albatross? Frank is an experienced American journalist and former CNN correspondent, anchor and Washington bureau chief and Kelly McDonald who will tackle the Changing Consumer Landscape: Marketing Insights and Trend Spotting . Kelly is a recognized expert on diversity marketing and business trends listed as number 1 in the list of “26 Hot Speakers” by Successful Meetings magazine.

Co-ordinated by the Forum’s Chair, Jeremy Garbett has chosen these first two top US speakers and the topics for discussion having undertaken a consultative period with the CEO Club members.
