Software giant Microsoft, the world’s largest computer software company, will host two full afternoons of informative demo sessions at this year’s office*, say the show’s organiser Diversified Business Communications UK. The annual event for PAs, EAs, office managers and top-level office support staff, returns for its second edition at Earls Court, London, this 15-16 September.
Taking place in the new Demo Theatre between 1pm and 4.15pm on both days of the show, these informative sessions will give office* attendees an expert introduction to some of Microsoft’s most popular office business software – including Microsoft Communication and Collaboration Solutions, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio.
Ita McAndrew, product manager for the SMB Office Client at Microsoft and host of four of Microsoft’s six sessions at office*, commented: “Microsoft is excited to be involved in this year’s office* event and the opportunity to share our solutions with this pivotal audience.”
Due to the anticipated popularity of these free Microsoft sessions, and to enable as many office* visitors as possible to benefit from their contents, ‘Working better together, present ideas & work from anywhere’ (hosted by Ita Andrews) and ‘Managing change the easy way’ (hosted by Lara Kingwell, Microsoft’s product manager for Project and Visio) will be repeated on both days of office*.
office*’s event manager, Ali Mead, is delighted to welcome Microsoft to the show: “Microsoft is renowned for its focus on education and helping its software users to use the latest technological advances to make their working lives easier, which makes it a natural fit for office*”
In addition to Microsoft, the show’s new demo theatre will also host sessions from Fujitsu in the UK; HRS.com; Elementus; and I-FM.net, who’ll be demonstrating its new office manager portal IFOM.co.uk.
office* is aimed at meeting the business needs and aspirations of today’s modern office professionals. It is free to attend for pre-registered visitors. For further information, and to view the full conference programme, please visit www.officeshow.co.uk.
