(Singapore, August 2011) – Recognizing the newest and brightest thinkers in the business travel industry today, the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) presented its “3 Under 33” award to three professionals during the ACTE Asia-Pacific Education Conference taking place this week in Singapore. The 3 Under 33 is a recognition program designed to showcase innovative individuals representing the next generation of industry leaders.
In front of an audience of over 500 attendees from more than 23 countries worldwide, ACTE presented their 3 Under 33 award to:
◦ Justine Zhou, Travel Specialist, MSD Technology
◦ Simon Dodd, Manager, Sales and Marketing, QBT Business Travel
◦ Balesh Jindal, CEO, JinKorp International, Inc.
In order to qualify, potential winners must be around or under the age of 33, have implemented a new idea, fresh approach or a new product or service in support of business travel sometime in the previous twelve months. They can either be nominated or nominate themselves.
“We are excited to be rewarding the efforts of individuals who are leading the way for innovation in this arena,” said ACTE Executive Director Ron DiLeo. “We know we cannot continue buying and managing travel as we have for the past 20 years, and these fresh approaches are helping change the face of business travel.”
