From Moscow to Beijing by comfortable train in two weeks

The first international excursion train left Kazanskiy railway station on August 15, 2011. The train will arrive in Beijing on August 29, 2011. The organizers of the tourist train are RZD Tour, the Federal Passenger Company and Intourist.

The train will be en route for 2 weeks and the passengers will be able to visit some interesting cities, the spaces of Sibir, the Mongol steppes and deserts, the mountain ranges of China.

The stops are planned in the key cities of the route: Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Ulan Bator and Erlian.

During the trip the passengers will be offered the dishes of the national cuisine and will get a chance to taste the local delicacies. The groups of the foreigners will be accompanied by the interpreters.
The train consists of the regular compartments for 3-4 passengers and the deluxe ones for 1-2 passengers. The trains also include 2 restaurants, bar, canteen and a special carriage with showers for the regular compartments; the passengers of the deluxe class will be able to take the shower in their compartments.

It’s interesting to note, that the trains Moscow – Beijing were operated earlier. There were even 2 of them: the Russian and the Chinese ones. But these were the trains of low comfort: lack of the air conditioners, the difficulties with the meals and the the stops were not longer than 30 minutes. www.atorus.ru
