Specialist event management company Mountain Leap has seen a sudden
surge in enquires for its corporate ski packages following the start of
ITV’s adventure show ’71 Degrees North’.

An adrenaline-fuelled mix of mountain based experiences and terrifying
situations, the eight-part series, now in its second season, is set in
the snowy glaciers of Scandinavia. The show features 10 celebrities
including Loose Women panellist Lisa Maxwell, EastEnders star Martin
Kemp and celebrity hairdresser Nicky Clarke battling the elements and
fighting their way to the northern-most tip of mainland Europe.

Mountain Leap has been providing upscale corporate ski events to
FTSE-250 clients and private equity houses for over a decade becoming
the trusted partner for the finance and commerce industry. Incentive ski
weekends and motivational team building experiences have become
especially popular with city folk looking for a break from the ‘norm’
with the corporate ski specialist seeing a surge in interest for its
mountain based offerings following the start of the show.

Adam Honey, CEO Mountain Leap, comments “This year has seen a
significant rise in enquires for some of our more adrenaline inducing
experiences in the Alps. Following the start of the series which
showcases snow based activities such as ski-dooing, ice climbing and
huski-sledding, enquiries have risen even further. I think that watching
the activities take place in such stunning locations is a real impetus
for people to book with us and have a go themselves in less challenging
circumstances!
