– A Stronger Sales Team to Bid for and Secure Business Events for Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, 23 September 2011 – The Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) has recently strengthened its team with key appointments in sales and marketing, as part of its commitment to boost international business events for Malaysia.

Joining MyCEB’s team of professionals are:

Senior Sales Manager, Associations

Yushiza Mohd Yusof joined MyCEB in August 2010 and was recently promoted from her last position as Sales Manager, Associations. In her new role, Yushiza will be leading a team of six to further strengthen efforts on sales promotions, convention bidding and securing international associations meetings for Malaysia.

Sales Manager, Associations

Chloe Chong has over seven years of experience in sales and destination marketing, including Tourism Australia and Pacific World Travel (representing the Macau Government Tourist Office in Malaysia). Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, Associations, Chloe will be working closely with industry partners on bids for association meetings for the country.

Business Development Manager

Ms Tai Lee Fen has an established background of over thirteen years in the business events industry including previous appointments with the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur. Tai will be focusing on business development programmes to develop the local associations market.

Ms Tai Lee Fen has an established background of over thirteen years in the business events industry including previous appointments with the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur. Tai will be focusing on business development programmes to develop the local associations market.

Market Research Manager

Appointed as Market Research Manager, Ms Manisa Mohd Nor will concentrate on business events market research and analysis to measure performance and identify new market opportunities for Malaysia. Formerly with the Shangri-La Hotel and with 10 years of experience, Manisa brings a wealth of expertise in research for the business events industry to MyCEB.
