Wembley Stadium has been selected to host the annual conference for European Tour Operators Association for 2011 and 2012 following the success of their 2010 event. The event was so well received by attendees that ETOA has also decided to book other events at Wembley Stadium in 2012. This includes the March Marketplace (MAMA), a two day business to business event for the British and Irish tourism industry, held on March 19th and 20th, and City Fair, a one day event focussing on city tourism, held on June 25th.

Jackie Boughton of DNC Wembley comments: “We welcome ETOA’s decision to select Wembley Stadium for their annual conference for 2011 and 2012, a choice that reflects the hard work and energy our team put into making last year’s event such a success. The team at Wembley pulled out all the stops last year but are committed to delivering an even better service this year.”

Thomas Jenkins, Executive Director of ETOA, says: “The ETOA conference is one of the largest events we hold. The event caters for professionals working across the whole of the industry: tour operators, wholesalers, hoteliers, tourist boards or other service providers. The programme is broad ranging with various workshops and seminars. Wembley Stadium provides the flexibility and space needed for our extensive programme and we are looking forward to using this world famous venue for another successful conference and future events.”
